Granite and Marble Countertops

Granite and marble are natural stones that require extreme attention to detail and perfectionism in their installation. Heritage Cabinet Supply uses only the most skilled and experienced installers for your granite and marble countertop installation.

We use Blue Isle Granite and Tile for all our granite and marble countertop fabrication and installation. Blue Isle Granite does all work “in-house” and is committed to excellence!

Top Quality Granite Countertops

When you work with Heritage Cabinet Supply, you can be assured that you will receive the best quality stone from around the world. Many companies advertise a low price per square foot (SF), but then add a lot of unnecessary charges to the final price.

Watch out for “Contractor Grade” Stone. When stone is quarried, some slabs are perfect; the remainder are not. The imperfect slabs typically have small “issues” that compromise the structural integrity of the stone, such as hairline cracks and/or fissures.

Stone slabs that are of this poor quality are typically left over at the quarry until all of the good slabs are sold to the high-end stone distributors. Those leftover, imperfect slabs of stone, are bought up by distributors in China at extremely low prices.

This lower quality stone is then sold to smaller fabricators who in turn advertise their “great” prices. These fabricators make money and the consumer seemingly saves money – but they will have many issues down the line with their stone countertops. Those imperfect slabs are usually covered with a wax sealant that hides imperfections.

The purchaser won’t notice any of the problems when they view the stone (if they view the stone) at the fabricator’s location. But, this wax sealant will wear away in time, leaving exposed the porous areas of the lesser quality stone. This inferior quality stone will need to be re-sealed every couple of months! Additionally, poor quality stone can chip more easily than the denser, higher quality, stone slabs.

Blue Isle Granite and Tile pays a little more for our stone, but they purchase only from the best, most renowned distributors, such as Europa Stone in Sterling, Virginia.

As the saying goes: you get what you pay for. Our natural stone countertops may appear at first to be pricier than other natural stone alternatives, they are far higher quality and will last longer than inferior quality stone countertops.
